OH WHAT A NIGHT!

WOW! WOW! WOW! What a night! We had 170 parents and friends of Ocean Grove primary attend our first trivia night since 2019!! Everyone looked absolutely amazing in their dress ups, and an excellent night was had by all. 

We hit, and maybe the event exceeded our fundraising target of around $5700 on the night, so a massive thanks to everyone who joined in on all the fun and games to help us get there. 

Also one final mention to our sponsors, who were so generous with their donations, many of them school families.

We will not only be able to complete the bikeshed over on Field St by putting a roof on it, we will also be able to complete some concreting near the gym to extend the rack there.

Finally, thanks to the extended P&F team who always show up to help out at these events. Whether it’s popping to kmart to pick up decorations, getting sponsors on board or setting up tables on the night - we could not do any of this without your help! 

Bring on 2023!!

ART SHOW - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Friday 21st October - we are looking for some volunteers to fill some half hour time slots between 4pm - 7.30 at the Art Show this friday on the sausage sizzle. If you can cook, serve or help with sales it would be greatly appreciated. 

OUTDOOR CINEMA 2023.

MOVIE TBC.

We are so excited to bring a fun family event to help kick off the new school year in 2023. 

We will have some food trucks and a BBQ on the night, as well as popcorn and ice cream. You can also BYO you own picnic dinner. 

Tickets will go on sale later this term on the Flexischools App. 

SENIOR SCHOOL GARDEN 

The P&F will be working closely with the Sustainability Sub Committee and Julian T to help re-establish the veggie garden. 

HELP NEEDED - Julian is looking to set up a roster of helpers. If you are available to help any Friday’s from 11.10 to 12.40 to help with construction or the new grade 6 kitchen garden area it would be greatly appreciated. 

You will be required to have a working with children’s check.
