From the Classroom- Year 5 (Camp week)

What an amazing, exhausting, challenging and rewarding week our Year 5 campers had at Norval, in the Grampians.

We had some positive feedback from our campers, read below:

Nate-I loved the beautiful waterfall we saw on our hike.

Levi- Walking to the top of the Grampians was a highlight for me and enjoying the view from the top.

Christian-I enjoyed doing the high ropes course and doing the leap of faith.

Klay-High ropes was awesome, especially when we fell off we could do poses in mid air

Felix M- The leap of faith...I made it!

Archie- The hiking, because it was something new for me.

Fergus- I enjoyed the abseiling because it was something new and it got my adrenaline pumping.

Felix W-High ropes, because it was fun to climb up and have a go at the leap of faith.

Mitchell- The high ropes for sure, it was high up, scary but fun.

Jet- High ropes too, it was really fun to conquer my fears.

Vincent- Abseiling was a highlight for me because I faced my fear of heights and gave it a go.

Ryder S- I really enjoyed archery because each time I had a go I improved.

Mia S-Abseiling, because it was scary and I loved the adrenaline.

Indy-Bush cooking was fun because we got to eat what we cooked...I cooked damper.

As staff members, taking children away on camp is an experience to remember. We can all confidently say that by the end of the week we returned with 52 children and 8 staff members who made huge personal growth, expanded their social circles, encouraged others during challenging times and gave everything a red hot go! We are so proud of the all the children and we had a great time creating new relationships and strengthening the ones we already had.

So on behalf of Emily, Dale, Miss J, Amelia, Troy, Katherine, Rick and Hannah we would like to thank you all for a wonderful week.
