'Pizza of the Imagination' competition

Last term Year 5 entered a "Pizza of the Imagination' competition through the Stephanie Alexander Foundation. We are excited to announce we were the winners of this competition, and have won an amazing prize pack from Saputo dairy valued at over $1000 for our school. Big congratulations Year 5 for all your efforts, stay tuned on how we will celebrate your win.

Our Year 5 students loved creating their Pizza's of the Imagination this week, we had so many colourful and creative combinations if was too hard to choose only a few to submit.

One class' entry were combined to create a giant table pizza, with the addition of some rosemary and royal blue potatoes from the school garden and of course a generous serving of parmesan cheese. One group created "Mickey the Cheese Monster" pizza while another class said "CCHHEEEESE" whilst holding up their colourful creations and enjoying a delicious meal of pizza and salad.

We absolutely loved the enthusiasm from the students, their creative drawings and we especially loved the Mickey pizza, so so cute!
