School vandalism

From Gabi, Assistant Principal

Unfortunately, there have been a number of occurrences of toilet vandalism recently.

Foreign objects have been placed into the toilets to cause blockages (cardboard, plastic, balls, and items of clothing). Cleaning equipment has been removed and toilet brushes and soap dispensers have been broken and another general misuse. Unfortunately at this stage, we have been unable to identify the cause of this damage, however, we are seeking your help to support us in doing so.

We ask that all families speak to their children and remind them of appropriate toilet use. If they notice any other students acting in a way that is disrespectful or vandalistic please report it to their teacher or a member of the leadership team straight away to enable us to follow up.

Whilst we understand the general condition of the toilets currently is low, we are currently exploring options to renovate our bathrooms to rectify these conditions. However, the current issues of misuse are behavioural choices that we need to address prior to any renovation.

We thank you for your ongoing support.
