Introducing our new Staff members

Mr Mark O'Sullivan - Instructional Leader English & Literacy

I am Mark O’Sullivan, the new Instructional Leader for English and Literacy. I am relatively new to Melbourne, having lived and worked in Sydney for most of my teaching life. In Sydney, I was a teacher, Head of House and a Head of English, mostly in Catholic schools that are in the Sydney Archdiocese. I have two children who still live in Sydney – Patrick and Brigid, who are 21 and 19 this year. I am a foundation member of the GWS Giants, and sometimes can be seen behind the goals at their games. I look forward to working with the students, parents and staff that are part of the Nazareth community.

Mr Bruno Cirillo - Facilities Manager

My name is Bruno Cirillo, the new Facilities Manager for Nazareth College.  Having completed my Bachelor’s in building surveying in the mid 1990’s, I’ve worked in local government as a Building Surveyor in Adelaide prior to  commencing work in schools and now I’m in my 21st year as a Facilities Manager in schools. I am happily married and have a daughter who is 30 and is an Art and English teacher in Adelaide. One of my interests has been to try and help homeless kids since my early years back in my hometown of Mildura. I truly look forward to working and having a small part in enhancing the facilities at Nazareth.

Mr Ryan Kolbe - Grounds person

I am Ryan Kolbe, the new grounds person and maintenance worker. I have lived in Melbourne all my life and grew up in the south-east. I have been working as a Groundsman in schools for three years now, as I continued working for my old school straight after I graduated Year 12. I love working outdoors and keeping the grounds looking as best as possible. I’m grateful for the opportunity to look after such a well-developed school and look forward to getting involved with the Community.

Mr Peter Stewart - Director of Faith and Mission

I am the new Director of Faith and Mission.

I have come from Sacred Heart Girls College, Oakleigh where I was the Religious Education Learning Leader.

God is a vital part of my life and I am looking forward to continuing to make Jesus the Nazarene central to College life. I will be working with staff and students to prepare meaningful Masses, prayer experiences, service opportunities, liturgies and retreats across the College.  I will also be teaching RE at Years 7, 10 and 12.

I am married with 6 children aged between 4 and 16. I enjoy bike riding, spending time with family and friends and following Collingwood in AFL football.

God Bless.
