Welcome to our Year 7s
It was so wonderful to welcome our 142 Year 7 students and their families to Nazareth College on 28 February. There were definitely nerves in the air, but also lots of excitement from both the students and staff present. We were so thankful to have our families on site to share in their child's first morning of secondary school, and welcome them into our community.
The Year 7s engaged in House activities where they were able to start making connections, a library orientation session, and an ICT connection session. There were many smiles, lots of questions and a gentle hum of chatter in the air.
It was so great to see the students mixing with each other, introducing themselves, and to witness the beginning of friendships being formed. They should be very proud of themselves; the way they have begun their time at the College certainly impressed us all.
Over the coming month the students will take part in the 'Fabulous February' transition program that will help them to bond with their House members and develop House spirit.
The College looks forward to working with this young, vibrant, and enthusiastic group of students not only this year, but throughout their years at Nazareth. On behalf of all staff and fellow students, welcome to Nazareth College!

2021 Instrumental Music Enrolment
Instrumental Music lesson enrolments are currently open for 2021. Please visit: SIMON - Knowledge Banks - Performing Arts and return your application to book your place.
Year 7 students are offered complimentary lessons on all brass, woodwind and string instruments in Term 1. Fees apply for other instruments including voice, guitar, piano and drum kit. Fees for Instrumental Music tuition are in addition to general school fees and are charged to your school account each semester.
