Parent's Association

Thank you

A big thank you to the Parent's Association for the work they have undertaken to support our students during the year.  This band of volunteers meets once per month to consult with the principal team and to develop strategies to better support students in the school with an emphasis on fundraising.  With COVID this year, the meetings had to move online but the enthusiasm and committment remained high.

We are losing three long term members this year and I would like to take the time to thank them for their work.  Each member has had a long term commitment and is leaving as their last child has finished year 12, so a big thank you and shout out to:

Secondhand Bookstall

The Secondhand bookstaff is a fantastic service provided by Parent's Association that supports families in facilitating the sale of unwanted textbooks and the purchase of cheap second hand books.  It takes an enormous amount of organisation to match the books up with their new owners and to get the proceeds to the right people.

Thanks to the work and organisation of Jess Rocca (one of our parents) and Tanya Mackezie this process has run incredibly smoothly.  The PA donated over $800 worth of books to Student Wellbeing for redistribution to families in need.
