Principal's Message

Dear parents and carers,

I invite you to read the reflection below on St Joseph from Sr Michele A. Connolly RSJ, a Scripture scholar who teaches New Testament Studies at the Catholic Institute of Sydney.

Why not join the P&F meeting this evening?

I encourage all parents and carers to make time to join the P&F meeting tonight at 7:00 pm. This is a very good opportunity to participate in the life of St Joseph's, meet other parents and support your school. The meeting will be conducted via Zoom.

Feast Of St Joseph 2021 Celebrations

On 19 March we celebrate the Feast of St Joseph and are delighted that Bishop Brian Mascord will join us along with Fr Patrick for a whole school liturgy and activities. More information about this day will be provided in upcoming newsletters.

Catholic Schools Week

Next week is Catholic Schools Week and students will share some of their learning on SeeSaw and in the school newsletter. Usually, we would be welcoming parents and carers into classrooms but this year we will open up classrooms via the digital classroom.

Monday- Catholic Schools Week school prayer at morning assembly.
Thursday- Digital Open Classroom via SeeSaw
Friday- assembly will focus on Catholic Schools Week and Project Compassion (Gold coin donation)

Year 6 Camp

This week, Year 6 looks forward to their camp at Stanwell Tops on Thursday and Friday. We wish them well in their two days of personal challenge, learning to work within a team, and building leadership skills.  Such camps are an opportunity to build character and learn more about each other.

Last Year, when these students were in Year 5, they were unable to attend their Canberra excursion due to COVID-19 directives so it is really good news that they can go to camp this year. Enjoy!
