From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

In these last few weeks of Term 1 we have a number of exciting school events coming up including the Colour Fun Run, Ride to School Day, Prep Twilight Sports night, Athletics Day and School Photos, just to name a few.

All of these events continue to have COVID safe practices in place so we thank you for your continued support.

Before and After School Supervision - IMPORTANT

School supervision commences for students arriving from 8:20 am.  Any student that arrives before this time needs to be checked into the Out of School hours program with Beyond Edu Care.

School supervision at dismissal time concludes at 3:40 pm. If your child\ren are unable to be picked up by this time they need to be enrolled the  Out of School hours program with Beyond Edu Care.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Colour Fun Run and Resilience Project

The Colour Fun Run will take place tomorrow from 2:00 - 3:30 pm on the school oval. Parents are welcome to come and watch excitement and fun.  Please enter the parent viewing area via the pedestrian gate near the sandpit.  There will be a QR code to sign in.

Thank you for the amazing fundraising efforts so far with a school total of $5000 raised!.  This is a fantastic effort so please keep up the sponsorship activities, and remember the deadline for finalising all sponsorship is next Friday 26th March.

Colour Fun Run Key information for Parents:

  • Fill out the Operoo\Caremonkey Permission Form for each of child.  This form contains safety information of the non-toxic powder used as well as map of the event.
  • Friday 19th March is a casual clothes day.  Please ensure students are wearing attire that can be “coloured” and get a bit dirty.
  • Each child will be given a pair of sunglasses for eye protection during the fun run.
  • Remind children if they are feeling worried or anxious about the colour fun run, to speak to their classroom teacher.

Finally, the colour fun run is an opportunity for our school to celebrate the beginning of our partnership with the Resilience Project, an organisation focused on building up strategies to maintain good mental health.
