Catholic Care Shepparton - Term 1 Activities

NEW - Open Air Cinema

An Open Air Cinema event will be taking place in Mooroopna on Friday 27th March as part of the 2020 CFA VFBV State Firefighter Championships being held at the Mooroopna Recreation Reserve the same weekend.

 Over 4000 members of the CFA family are expected to attend and CFA particularly welcomes members of the community to come along and enjoy this event.

 As part of the weekend’s activities, please join CFA for a screening of Disney Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” at the Community Open Air Cinema.

 This all ages event is held on the lawns of the Mooroopna Football oval.

 Bring a rug and a picnic or support local brigades by purchasing from the onsite barbeque. There is also popcorn and fairy floss also available for purchase.

 Please note this is an alcohol-free event, and donations for entry will be made to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal For entry/exit purposes, a wrist band will distributed to attendees.

 Opens at 7pm for a 7.45pm start.

Tatura Netball Association will running our Friday Night Primary School competition again this year commencing on Friday 17th April.  

We will also be running a Net Set GO program on Friday nights commencing Friday 24th April.  Please find below some important details that we trust you can forward onto an appropriate contact within your school community.

TNA Friday Night Netball - Information and Team Registration Night  to be held on Tuesday 10th March 2020 @ 6pm

We require a representative from each school/team to attend to register their teams for 2020.  This meeting will also outline some important changes to how we are running the competition this year - including weekly rosters, modified rules for Grade3/4 teams, online registrations etc. Final team lists must be submitted to TNA by Tuesday 24th March

Team lists including player's name and VNA number must be emailed to TNA by this date to allow time to produce season's draw and score sheets.  

Assistance with online Registration for players will be available at the club rooms on Tuesday 24th March from 5.30pm - 6.30pm.

Round One of the competition commences  the first week of Term 2 - Friday 17th April

Mercy Access - Volunteers

Mercy Access provides assistance to Aboriginal children from Catholic schools and from all schools in a Homework Club.  We invite volunteers to assist in this In-School Program or/and Gowola Homework Club Program NOW. Hopefully, volunteers would have had previous experience, or an interest in the field of education. Indications of interest would be welcome immediately.
