Literacy

We will be participating in the 2019 'National Simultaneous Storytime' on Wednesday May 22. Students around the nation will read 'Alpacas with Maracas' at the same time.

Our writing focus has been on persuasive writing. Students have been planning pieces on a range of topics and have been learning to use persuasive devices effectively.

Numeracy

During our Mathematics sessions, students have been immersed in real life activities relating to time. We are now investigating data collection and analysis. 

Inquiry Learning

Students are learning about Australia's states and territories and our geographical features. They will then investigate how climate affects vegetation and life in various places.
