Artists of the term!!

This week's artist of the weeks should really be termed "artists of the term". The award goes to ALL the grade 3,4,5 and 6 children for bringing to fruition the art works that they have been working on throughout this term. For grades 3 and 4 it is for their work on their papier-mache dragons and bunyips. For the grade 5 and 6 children it is for their Kimmy Cantrell inspired clay masks.

I'm sure you will agree that their persistence on these projects has resulted in some wonderful art works.

Thank you!

It has been another busy and creative year in the art room. Lisa and I are looking forward to the break when we can recharge our own creative batteries ready for the exciting adventures we are planning for  your children in 2020. Thank you for all your support and encouragement  throughout this year.

If you are staying in Melbourne over the Summer I highly recommend a visit to the NGV. The exhibition of works by Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat called "Crossing Lines", is showing.
