OSHClub News

BPPS OSHClub News

This week at OshClub we focused on recycling from old cardboard and used paper, and engaging our children in expressing their ideas to get and make/create their own board games. We focussed on learning about the environment, watching documentaries and making awareness posters. The children engaged themselves in making various other craft activities such as cubbies from recycling, making flowers from used paper and enjoyed various cooking activities this week. Chocolate cake and egg pasta were popular with the children.

At our service we offer opportunities for our children to develop their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) skills through play. Apart from these, every evening we also provide numerous games and sports activities to promote physical health along with various cooking activities where children learn to master culinary skills .

Enrol in advance:

For easy access at any time, we recommend that all Boroondara Park families enrol and create an account with OSHclub. This comes in handy, as it is free of cost and parents can book in their child, when needed.

Bookings:

Bookings need to be made outside of 48hrs before a session.  For example, bookings for Before School Care on a Thursday will need to be made at the latest by 7am Tuesday before. After this time, you can no longer secure a booking through your iParent portal. Contact Sanju at the program to see if there are any spots left to book for the day.

No more on-the-day bookings are accepted. Due to government regulations relating to staff-student ratios, we can no longer take on-the-day bookings. In an emergency, we can offer a place. We endeavour to always support the needs of families and will try to accommodate every situation, if possible, but have been advised that we cannot take any more on-the-day bookings.

We are also now open for bookings for our  summer Vacation care, which will be running from the 6th of January, 2020 to the 28th of January, 2020. Kindly take a look at the brochure that is attached.
