Early Learning Centre

What beautiful weather we have been having after the heat. For the Early Learning Centre, it means that we can spend more comfortable time in the outdoor learning area. We continue to have lots of play involving the conservative use of water, lots of role play with the dress-ups and dolls. Our “medical centre” has moved from the green room to outside; allowing for the treatment of many more patients and the graduation for many Doctors and Nurses.

The Purple Room have been looking at different types of fruit. This was initially instigated by Jobe and his Mum bringing Lychees and Dragon Fruit into the Centre. Last week the children walked to Schinella’s to see for themselves all the different fruits available. They divided into small groups and each group was able to choose a different fruit/vegetable to purchase. The group arrived back at the centre with apple cucumber, white zucchini, Hello melon and more to taste.

Many thanks to Carly Lowe and Antonia Cutri for accompanying the children.

We are now interviewing for Term 3, 2019 intake to the ELC. Please ensure you have enrolled or let anyone you know who is interested in enrolling for a term 3 start.
