St John's Regional College would like to give thanks to Woolworths - Endeavour Hills, Woolworths - Dandenong South and Coles - Dandenong Plaza.

Young Lasallians Evening Gathering

St John’s Regional College, Dandenong on Monday 17 September from 6pm – 8pm. Young Lasallians Evenings always include a shared meal and community time.

This event will offer a fun twist, however: instead of a guest speaker and activities, this Young Lasallians Evening will be a launch party for Lasallian Youth Gathering 2019! We will celebrate our Lasallian family, get excited about the Tercentenary and LYG, and experience a taste of the fun and formative atmosphere they can expect in Melbourne next April.

RSVP: 10 September – please indicate names of attendees and any allergies or dietary requirements.  All RSVPs may be returned to philippedulawan@delasalle.org.au

Smiles On Site

St John’s Regional College is collaborating with Smiles Onsite to promote healthier, happier smiles at our school! This incredible service is being offered for FREE under the federal government's Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).

How does it work?

The Child Dental Benefit Schedule grants all eligible parents with $1000 worth of Medicare towards dental per child, over a two-year period. Eligible parents should receive a confirmation letter; however if you are still unsure, Smiles Onsite can check for you on completion of their consent form.

Can I make use of this service if I'm not eligible?

Of course! Smiles Onsite can do almost everything that your local dentist can do on board there state-of-the-art mobile Clinic. If you would like them to see your child for a scale and clean, fillings, fissure seals etc., these services can be offered with NO GAP payable.

This service is a great opportunity to get kids into the habit of good oral hygiene, and we hope you're as excited about it as we are!

You can fill out the dental consent form for your son or daughter by inserting this link on the web browser -

https://form.jotform.co/81208632036854 Alternatively your child can collect a consent form from Student Services. The van will be visiting the College in the September school holidays.

If you have any further questions about this program or your eligibility, please contact Smiles Onsite directly on 1800 276 453.

Instrumental Music Lessons

Lessons are currently available for Saxophone, Guitar and Piano. We are now offering a free trial lesson for any student who is thinking about taking up one of these instruments. This is an opportunity to meet the instrumental teacher and have a go at an instrument before committing to a full term of lessons.

If you would like to take up this opportunity please email an expression of interest to trobinson@sjrc.vic.edu.au stating which instrument you would like to try and why. There are a limited number of trial lessons available so this offer is subject to availability.

Enrolment forms for Instrumental Music are available on SEQTA and from Student Services. Forms and payments are to be submitted to the Accounts Office.
