2019 Music Enrolments: An ongoing road to a creative future.

The Music Faculty has engaged an adjusted method of enrolment for instrumental music lessons.   New students, or students commencing new instruments or voice lessons will still enrol via the Instrumental Music Enrolment Form.  Students already engaged in instrument or voice lessons will automatically continue to be enrolled from year to year. 

The ongoing enrolment process will:

• Recognise future pathways in music that students and teachers are planning towards.
• Reward commitment and growth through instrumental/voice lessons and ensemble participation.
• Remove the necessity of parents to re-enrol students every year
• Encourage student dedication and commitment to ongoing learning.

Parents will be required to notify the music department if discontinuing lessons.  This expectation of four school weeks’ notice already exists for those who discontinue throughout a year. 

Parents will be provided with reminders.  Concluding each year, parents will be informed about the instrumental lessons in which each child is enrolled, and prior to the commencement of Term 1 Timetables will be issued, confirming enrolment.  Fees for lessons will be advised at these times. 

Enrolments for instrument and voice lessons in 2019 are now open.  To aid in our planning for 2019 please return forms for new enrolments as soon as possible.  Students currently enrolled in Instrumental Music Lessons are automatically enrolled ongoing.  For discontinuation of lessons please advise the Music Department in writing.
