The Peppercorns - 10s & 11s

Starting fresh

It has been an exciting and fun start to the year and so lovely to see familiar faces and meet new ones.  We hope that all of the children have settled in well and are feeling good about being back at school.

Rosie and myself have been busy planning an exciting curriculum and setting up our freshly painted classroom.  We feel pretty confident to say, that the kids love it!

We embarked on our inquiry unit on plastics this week.  In one of our sessions we learnt about where plastic comes from and how it is made.  Students built models of ethane monomers and joined these together to create polyurethane.  It was such a fun lesson and we are looking forward to many more learning experiences like these.

Rosie and myself would also like to extend an invitation for you to join us for Fireside on Wednesday 13 February from 6.00pm - 7.00pm.  This will be a great opportunity for us to discuss all things related to curriculum, time-tabling, camp and address any questions that you may have.

We welcome you to contact us at any time and we look forward to establishing strong home/school relationships.
