OSHC

Term 2 Week 1

Last Week at OSHC

After a 2 week break we were back in the swing of things down at OSHC.

As Tuesday was ANZAC day, students decorated poppies which have been displayed under our OSHC Family Tree and on Wednesday we baked ANZAC biscuits. Students often take the lead on cooking activities under the supervision of educators. They measure, mix and chop ingredients to create a take home snack for all students to have upon leaving each afternoon.

Students made playdough with Wendy and some of the younger students learnt how to play chess with Tom. Students enjoyed the extra LEGO donated by one of our students and let their imagination run wild in the developmental play corner.

Football was a big focus outside, along with basketball, Around the World and the sandpit play. At Before Care children enjoyed playing with kinetic sand, playing board games while others got busy drawing chalk works of art on the paths.

We advise that the program will be closed on the 8th of May, Curriculum Day, due to insufficient numbers.
