Sacrament of First Reconciliation

This year will be a very special time for children celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation as part of the St Francis Xavier Parish.

The Commitment Mass

The Sacramental preparation begins with a Commitment Mass at St Francis Xavier Church. During the Mass, the children make their pledge to commit to the Sacramental preparation program. They are also presented to and blessed by the Priest.

All children who will be receiving the Sacrament of First Reconciliation, and their parents, are expected to attend a Commitment Mass.

Families may choose to attend the Commitment Mass on either:

Saturday 13 May  OR Sunday 14 May
