Mannix College - Monash University

 This college is a popular option for many students, and I want to make sure that your sons know when and how to apply in order to avoid missing out. So, read on!

 

What's on Offer?

Mannix welcomes all students studying at Monash University. Its diverse and inclusive community is made up of students from all around Australia and the world who want to be involved in community life. In 2023, it has residents from 14 different nations in the college.

 

The Mannix experience is unique at Monash. All students have the opportunity to benefit from a great social network, academic assistance, pastoral and welfare support, delicious and nutritious meals, sports, social and community activities, music and cultural programs, and leadership opportunities. The college is fully catered and offer a weekly housekeeping service.

 

Scholarships 

Mannix believes that every student should have the opportunity to live at it, regardless of financial circumstance, and so it is increasing the number of needs-based scholarships available. Among its scholarships, the Lang Family Scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year for two years. Read more here

 

The college's Open Day will be held on Sunday 6 August (in collaboration with Monash University).

Application Process

James Cook University

Engineering Futures 2023

 

The inaugural James Cook University (JCU) Engineering Futures is a live-in program offering students in Years 10, 11 and 12 the chance to experience university life during school holidays. The program is an entirely immersive camp that is fully funded by JCU. It provides students with a distinctive experience of tertiary education in science, engineering and technology-related fields, while still studying in high school. The camp aims to provide encouragement to students to pursue STEM as a career and build confidence and capacity for university study.
