One of the many things that I love about Shelford is the vibrant tapestry of activity that can be observed at any given moment. In this regard, Term 1 has been exactly as it should be! Our final Senior school assembly for the term, saw many of our captains reporting on exciting array of activities. I have certainly thoroughly enjoyed observing our students immersing themselves in the countless opportunities available to them. In doing so they have demonstrated, passion, commitment and an almost palpable sense of fun! I have enjoyed watching friendships grow and skills develop. Congratulations to our students on a wonderful term; I have no doubt that they are all very ready for the break! I hope the term break is restful and that you all get to do a little more of what you enjoy. For those travelling, I hope that your adventures are exhilarating and I look forward to seeing everyone back at the start of Term Two.
The first two weeks of Term Two will be transition weeks, where students may choose to wear either summer or winter uniform. From Monday 8 May, all students should be wearing the full winter uniform.
Regarding the winter coat, a small number are available in store at Noones. All others will be available to order with an approximate delivery date of May. You may want to call ahead to check on stock levels. Judging by the number of girls stopping by my office to look at the sample coat, it looks like it will be a popular item for Junior and Senior students alike!
