Celebrating Mother’s Day at SFS
Mother’s Day is coming up soon and the PFA are busy planning lots of festivities to celebrate the very special mums and mother figures in our lives.
Mother's Day Morning Tea
We would love to see as many of you lovely ladies as we can. It’s a great opportunity to meet and mingle and celebrate all the special women in our school community. There will be tea, coffee and delicious food alongside the amazing company. So join us as we celebrate motherhood!
Mother’s Day Stall
All students will have the opportunity to purchase a gift at our Mother’s Day Stall on Friday 12 May. We have a range of lovely gifts to choose from ranging from $1 - $6. Don’t forget to send some money with your child if they would like to purchase something at the stall.
We will have parent helpers guiding students through the stall. Due to limited stock availability, some purchase limits may apply so please let your children know. If there is any surplus stock after the stall is completed during the day, we will open the stall up again after school.

It’s always a fun day helping the kids shop for something special!
All helpers need to have a valid WWCC that is registered at the school office.

Mother’s Day Raffle
Don’t forget to return your raffle tickets and money by Wednesday 10 May. All tickets need to have your child’s name, home group and a mobile number. Extra tickets are available at the office. Winners will be announced at the assembly on Friday. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser.

We want to extend a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to the following businesses who have generously donated prizes for our raffle. Many of these businesses are affiliated with our school or local community – and we encourage you to support these businesses where you can.
Donations for Mother’s Day Stall
We are still on the hunt for donations for our Mother’s Day raffle. Any donations are so appreciated, both from our amazing school community and local businesses…think chocolates, candles, wine, vouchers, or anything that the special women in your life would love. Please drop any donations off to the school office by Thursday 11 May. If you have spare gift bags at home we would love those too! The more donations we receive, the more prizes we will have for the raffle. Let’s spread the love to all the mums this Mother’s Day!
Fun Food Friday at SFS – Chips and Popcorn!
Chips and popcorn are on sale at first lunch every Friday in Term 2 for $1. Please remember to give your child money if they are allowed to purchase.
If any parents would like to join the roster to sell chips/popcorn, please email sfspfa@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au
You’ll be rostered once or twice per term between 10:45 – 11:15 am and your kids will love seeing you at school!
A reminder that all volunteers and helpers at SFS must have a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC). These checks are very easy to apply for, and are free for volunteers!
