CAREERS

School Careers Website

The Lilydale High School Careers Website contains a large amount of information and should be your first stop when you are looking for information on anything job, careers, university and TAFE related (and there is so much more).

The site has a specific area where students can log into and complete skills and interest tests.

Parents and Carers are welcome to contact the school and arrange a careers interview with a Career Practitioner (Tim or Kristy) if your child is experiencing difficulties and needs assistance in succeeding at school, completing their schooling to the highest level possible (Year 10 as a minimum) and in gathering information about potential careers.

Young Women in Trades & Tech Expo

On Thursday  May 11, five students from Lilydale High School attended an exhibition at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre about 'Careers in Trade' for female and non-binary students in Years 9 to 12.

There was much to enjoy and there was something for everyone!

Some of the different exhibits included; construction, mining, marine and the boating industry, gaming and design and automotive.

There was lots of free stuff and souvenirs as well, including course guides from multiple different universities such as RMIT and Chisolm! It was an amazing experience.
