Middle School Report

Welcome to Middle School 2023

In true Box Hill fashion, the middle students have made an impressive start to 2023. This year, we aim to focus on supporting the engagement and positive experiences of all students, so all students can achieve their personal best. This has also translated to areas outside of the classroom, with students eagerly involving themselves in swimming sports, interschool sports, and the College’s production of ‘Sweeney Todd – The Demon Barber of the Barbary Coast.’ We are constantly impressed with our students’ wide and varying skills.

Specific Year Level Focuses

Year 9 – Ms Wilkinson and Ms Kertes are working hard to ensure Year 9 students are engaged and feel connected to the whole school community.  The aim is that this will increase their capacity to demonstrate resilience.

Year 10 – Mr Barnett and Ms Kertes are working hard with the Year 10s to allow them to exhibit mindfulness and focused attention. The aim of this is to ensure students show empathy for all members of the school community.
