It has been great hearing about several our 18-year-olds obtaining their license.  We know it is already a stressful time during year 12, so congratulations on getting your Ps!

Lucy Kelly (pictured) is one of a few who recently got their license on their birthday.

Our Prefect Team has been busy planning and getting involved in a range of school activities already this year.

Year 12 Retreat: Planning and running the Trivia Night for their peers Valentines Day: Decorating the Common Room, hand-making notes and arranging chocolate and note deliveries for senior school students.

Swimming carnival: Our House and Sport Captains helped with marshalling the events, planning, and running the house activities during the day.

Harmony Day: Helped collect family cake donations and assisted with the cultural food stalls on the day.  Money raised on the day went towards the Migrant Information Centre.

Sustainability Week: Helped run activities each day of the week to educate and encourage sustainable choices.

Congratulations to Jess Pratt who completed her Karate Black Belt grading! A huge amount of training is completed leading up to this.  Jess has been training at 5am and after school most days, this includes fitness and technical skills training, a mud run and many sparring sessions.  Enjoy some well earnt time off!

Congratulations to Luke Nicholson.  Luke has been awarded the Whitehorse Award for his Basketball Team, The Whitehorse Mustangs.  Luke is a valuable member of his basketball team and has shown great leadership supporting his teammates during the season.

Yonal Abeykoon is a pilot who has flown a plane solo! He is continuing his training this year.  Yonal is doing a great job balancing his flying commitments with his schooling.

We look forward to hearing about more of his adventures this year.
