Year 7 Achievements

We are proud to share the achievements of our Year 7 students.

Caitlin Searle (7C) has been cast as Annie in the Sleeping Stars Theatre Production of Annie.  The performance will be at Karralyka Centre in Ringwood on July 14 and 15.  We can’t wait to see Caitlin perform on stage!

Chloe Ward (7G) represented her dance school 'Toepaz' in their first float in Moomba.

Clarisa Scotter (7J) received the Club Award for Doncaster Tennis Club in December 2022.  This award is received by only one boy and girl in the club, and it recognises their dedication and commitment.  At the end of the 2022 season, Clarisa was the Under 12s singles champion and the Under 12s Doubles champion.

Elana Hersbach (7D) received the Halina Strnad Community Spirit and Leadership Award in late 2022.  The award is in recognition of people who are dedicated towards their community.  Elana received the award for supporting her peers in and outside the classroom.  She is known to be the first to approach those who need help.

Darcy Stephenson (7D) is a high-performance tennis player.  He has been selected to play in the Australian National Clay Court Tennis Championships in Canberra in April.  Only the top 20 12/U boys in Australia based on their ranking are selected and accepted into the Nationals event.  Good luck, Darcy!

Jasmine Yeo (7J) completed her Viola AMEB grade 8 exam and she passed the exam. Congratulations, Jasmine! She is currently taking part in the Melbourne Youth Orchestras’ Youth Chamber Strings playing the viola.

Nil Altan (7A) has reached the semi-finals of her Summer Junior Tennis Competition. She will be competing for her club, Eley Park Tennis Club, in the grand final on the weekend of 25th and 26th March.  We wish Nil all the best for this! In the Winter season, Nil placed second and she received a medal.  Well done, Nil!

Congratulations to all our students for their achievements. We can’t wait to hear about the other fantastic achievements that our Year 7 students accomplish throughout the year!
