A penny for your thoughts! 

Last week the Education committee (a sub-committee for our School Council) met to discuss our first matter of business -  reviewing Karoo Primary School’s Home Learning (Homework) policy. 

Here at Karoo Primary school, we are always striving to refine and improve our practices so that they are student centered. We aim to create meaningful and useful policies and procedures which enable both teachers and parents to know how best they can support our students/children in a collective and consistent way so that they are able to achieve their best and find personal excellence.

We are endeavoring to collect data from our whole school community, including parents and carers, students and teachers to inform the new policy.

We strongly encourage ALL parents to have their say by participating in a short survey, using the link below. The survey is best filled out once for each child that you have who attend Karoo Primary school, as we endeavor to get a clear picture of the experiences of all students across the school. 

The survey is open to parents and carers now and will close at the end of week 3, on Sunday the 14th of May. It is short and should only take 5 minutes to complete.
