From the Senior Sports Master
Welcome back to Term 2 and the start of the winter season.
The ISA football and tennis seasons begin this weekend whilst rugby begins a series of pre-season cross-association matches in the lead up to the start of their ISA season. We will be presenting all match-ups in a one-stop shop fixture card at the top of this sports section where you will get an overview of where all the fixtures each week.
As we begin our ISA winter seasons, can I again draw your attention to the ISA Code of Conduct and the SPX Risk Warning document, attached below.
Mr Matt Stearn, Senior Sports Master
Important Parking Reminder for Oxford Falls
With the commencement of our winter sporting season I would like to remind all parents parents and caregivers of being respectful of our neighbours at our Oxford Falls campus.
Please ensure that you follow road and parking rules in and around Dreadnought and Spicer Roads, including parking in appropriate areas and also following advised speed limits.
Northern Beaches Council Rangers have advised that they will be patrolling the area on all Saturdays throughout the winter season and booking any illegal parking.
Please note that parking in the C3 Church grounds is not permissible. There are multiple signs indicating that it is a one-way road, with 'wrong way' signs up in place. As it has been noted that parents have been breaching this one-way direction on these grounds, the C3 Church are clearly concerned for the safety of their community.
Please respect this expectation and only park in designated areas and follow all directions when parking, for the safety of all our Oxford Falls community.

Senior Rugby
Trytime Holiday Rugby Clinic
During the recent holidays close to 80 students participated in a Rugby clinic on 19 and 20 April, run and supported by Mike Cross and Trytime Rugby.
The boys were treated to fantastic weather on the first day and there were multiple expert coaches to assist them with their skills. The day was broken up into three sections where the students divided into 5 different groups to develop the finer intricacies of the game to give them an advantage come game time.
The second day started inside due to the weather but it didn’t stop the enthusiasm and boys were keen to get out in the rain to work on their wet weather skills. The Under 13 age group played an internal trial run by Mr Brannan. This was a great way to work on game sense scenarios and game fitness.
The top Opens teams then put on a show for the crowd with a high intensity semi -opposed fixture. This was tough for some whose fitness may have declined over the Easter break.
Thanks to Mr Di Sano who refereed both games and to Trent Willoughby and Joe Colgan for preparing the grounds for this event.
We now turn our focus to The Scots College who we play on Saturday 29 April.
Rugby Training
Rugby training has recommenced each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon with the U14s, 15s, 16s and Opens training at Oxford Falls. The U13s will now train at Beauchamp Oval. All players are expected to attend both training sessions so they are best prepared for the season ahead.
