Catholic Identity

St Mary’s Spirituality Day

As part of Catholic Education Week we celebrated our first St. Mary’s Student Spirituality Day. The morning began with a spiritual prayer, over our P.A system and included the chime bowl ringing to signify the time to be still. Year 6 students enjoyed a walk to the Campaspe River focussing on the Scripture reading the ‘Road to Emmaus’. The day focussed on each year level’s, Religious Education Curriculum. We came together as a whole school in prayer during our Whole School Mass. Students all completed a creative response in the afternoon. Teachers and students alike commented on the fun learning experiences they shared.

Mother’s Day

Tomorrow as a whole school we celebrate Mother’s for all they are and do for our student’s. We will have a Liturgy in the Brigidine Centre from 9.15 till 9.45.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Giver of Life and all the gifts we share,

Look with love and tenderness on us.

Bless our lives,

And help us to reflect the love Christ has for us.

Fill us with your love,

And let us bring your light into our lives.

Help us to nurture a love of learning in our child/ children

And offer guidance in their journey of faith, trust & love.

Bless us Father,

In our own Journey,

As we give you praise & glory.
