1/2 Camp

1/2 Mt. Evelyn Camp

 

Two weeks ago the grade 1/2 students went off on their first camping adventure to 

Mt. Evelyn camp.

 

The students farewelled their families, grabbed their gear and were eager to head off for two days full of excitement, challenge and fun. 

 

All students showed great displays of courage, persistence and resilience when participating in the activities. It was great to see how the students worked together in team building tasks, helped each other overcome new challenges and supported their peers when it was needed. They all came back a little bit older, braver, wiser and definitely more tired!!!

 

We would like to thank all the parents who volunteered their time to help us on the camp:

We absolutely couldn’t have done it without you! We appreciate the time you took away from your own family and work commitments in order to be there. 

 

We would also like to extend our thanks to all 1/2 families. Without your support, trust and belief in our program, camps like this just wouldn’t go ahead, so thank you!

 

Thank you also to the students! Your teachers loved seeing all of you in a new and different environment, having fun and being kids! You were absolute stars and we can’t wait for the next one!! Bring it on!
