Staff Profiles

Jesse

My name is Jesse and I have taught at Epping Views in quite a few different roles since 2018.My first few years here were spent as a CRT, or Casual Relief Teacher, taking anything from in the classroom in Prep through to 6, to PE, Digital Learning or Science.

At the start of this year I accepted a full time role as a Digital Learning Teacher, teaching DL to 20 different classes each week. I accepted a position to do this again in 2023, and am excited to continue to challenge myself and get the best from my students. Outside of work, I love to catch up with friends, go out to eat new foods, read a good book, or head to the footy to watch my beloved Hawks! (Hopefully they win a few more in 2023.)

I am constantly moving around the school, from class to class, to yard duty, or to find someone to have a chat to. Anyone that knows me, knows I love to talk! So if you see me around, come say hello!

I am also doing Movember currently, to help raise much needed funds for research and preventions into Men’s Health areas such as Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer and Men’s Suicide. If you would like to donate, you can scan this QR Code to give what you can.

Harpreet

My name is Harpreet Saini and I teach Year 1 and Year 5 at Epping Views Primary School. This year marks my tenth year on my journey working at this school, and every moment of my experience here has brought me with new learning experiences, and moments of joy. I began working as a Teacher Assistant in 2013 and after gaining more confidence, I registered myself as a school teacher in 2016. Throughout these years, I have had my fair share of different roles within the school. I have shared classrooms with many teachers and also worked as a Library specialist teacher reading books to Year P-2 in 2021.

I am a very friendly teacher and I love the students at our school. I prefer calling each student by their name as I find that it helps me to grow my relationship with them. Another thing that is greatly important to me is greeting parents and staff around the school as I feel that my positive energy should be spread.

I live locally and have moved houses four times in three years to find my dream home which I think I have finally found! My family is made of my loving husband, two children and my favourite pet (dog) Venus.

During my spare moments, I enjoy watching Bollywood web series and movies. I also love gardening and dancing. I love and miss my friends and my family who still live in India.

Epping Views Primary School is my second home and my motive when teaching is that my students work hard and understand what they are learning while still having fun. I have always wanted to be a school teacher and my dream came true in Australia.
