Hands on Learning
Our Hands on Learning students visited the Melton Botanic Gardens on the 20th of October to participate in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Tree Planting Day.
Hands on staff & students have been working hard throughout the year on projects happening around the gardens.
The students received special mentions and praise from all of the people involved on the day.
Two of our students were lucky enough to plant a tree with Jane Edmonson from Gardening Australia and our principal Mr Mitsinikos.
These trees will mark the beginning of an avenue of 500 native trees along the Collins Road boundary .
