Student Library Assistant Program - Update

This term we welcomed Louie, Brigit, and Mikaela to the Student Library Assistant Program. These students will join Cameron, Orlando, and Kevin in completing the modules for the program and will learn a variety of new skills and experience as they progress through the program.

Recently these students have been working on Library displays and events, as well as receiving and processing new books.

Genre Highlight - Manga & Graphic Novels

These popular books & series are available in our school library. Each newsletter we will highlight two of our genres.

Halloween in the Library

The Library organised fun lunch time activities across two days for Halloween. Students watched the movie Hotel Transylvania and participated in Halloween craft activities and colouring in. 

Overdue Books and Final Borrowing

All overdue library books need to be returned before the end of term 4. It is appreciated if overdue books are returned as soon as possible so that Library staff can complete end of year stocktaking of our resources.

Overdue reminders have been given to students in Home-group, as well as letters and SMS messages home. If you have overdue books, please make sure to check your locker at school as well as at home. 

If students have any concerns regarding overdue or lost books, they will need to speak to Mr DeLeon in the library.

We thank you for your support in making sure all books are returned to the library so that books and resources are available for students next year.

Borrowing for the holidays

Students are welcome (and encouraged) to borrow books for reading over the summer holidays. Students can borrow up to 5 books.

Final borrowing will be Friday 2nd December.
