Library

The end of the year is now fast approaching, which can see things start to get really busy.  This week was our last week for borrowing from the Library for the year, which most students were sad about, as I was too! This year I have been encouraging students to let me know if they have heard of any good authors or new book series they would like to see in the library, which has been fun sourcing and getting them out. Some take longer than others to get in, but I look forward to the new arrivals and suggestions that I hope will continue to come in during next year!

Although students can still have their books for two weeks after this week’s last session, we must have EVERY LIBRARY BOOK BACK NO LATER THAN 16th DECEMBER, or earlier if you are leaving the school or in Grade 6. Please help in finding as many overdue and lost library books as you can and get them in ASAP.  Invoices will be sent home for outstanding books that are not received by the 16th December, especially if a parent or a child has not spoken to me about their whereabouts. I do nag each and every Library session those who have had some books for a while...they know who they are!! 😉

BOOK CLUB

Last call for Book Club Orders. The last day for cash payments was yesterday, but if you are placing an order trough the Scholastic LOOP system, the last call for this is 3.30pm tomorrow Friday 2nd December. If any orders are placed after this time, Scholastic cannot guarantee delivery before the end of term.
