Posi Schools
I encourage you to ask your children what they have been discussing each day in our PosiSchools program.
The CON is coming to Quirindi! Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music
Next year we are excited to provide whole class music lessons, taught by qualified music teachers from the CON Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music. Classes will receive a 45 minute lesson each fortnight throughout the school year. The school will cover the cost of the lessons and most of the travel costs however, we will be asking parents to pay a small amount towards the travel component of this wonderful learning experience for your children (more details will be provided early next year).
Individual Music Lessons too!
Along with this initiative we are able to facilitate music teachers from the CON providing individual lessons at a cost to parents. Please note these lessons will only be scheduled for the days the class lessons are on, as the weekly travel cost would make these lessons too expensive for parents. If you want your child to have private lessons you will need to get onto the CON’s website, download and fill in the form. Please liaise with the CON directly.
Parent Teacher Interviews
Teachers have set aside three afternoons during Week 9 (Monday 5th Dec- Wednesday 7th Dec) to give parents the opportunity to discuss your child's learning progress. These meetings are extremely important and I encourage ALL parents to log into COMPASS and select a time that suits you to meet with your child's teacher.
Have a wonderful week
