GRADE 5 CAMP

YEAR 5 CAMP

On the 25th of October, Year 5 travelled to Cave Hill Creek for our first ever school camp!

We spent three days there and had a lot of fun doing activities. One of the popular activities was the crate stacking. We were clipped into harnesses and told to stack crates. There were holes at the side of each crate to help us step on, we built higher and higher and eventually jumped off.

For meals, we had delicious lasagna. We had seconds because it was just so good. On the second day we had marinated chicken with potatoes for dinner which was also very yummy. For desserts on the first night we had apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. On the second night it was Reyan’s birthday so the camp made a special chocolate birthday cake for everyone to enjoy.

On both nights we had fun night activities. The first night we had a disco with music to dance to. On the second night we had trivia and afterwards watched Zootopia.

Even though the weather wasn’t the best,   Year 5 had an amazing time at Cave Hill Creek.
