SCHOOL COUNCIL

Dear Valkstone Community,

I am very pleased to announce that the next Principal for our School will be Mrs Angela Dawson.

As most will be aware, Angela is currently our Assistant Principal and has been acting in the Principal role since the beginning of Term 3 this year. She has provided wonderful leadership of the school during her time with us. 

Angela has articulated a tremendous vision and passion for the school and I am sure she will share more of this over coming weeks and months as she consults with the community.

The selection panel was very professional and ensured they operated with the utmost integrity. I thank the selection panel for their efforts.

Please be aware that this is a provisional appointment for the next 2 weeks pending any appeals of the process.

Please join me in congratulating Angela on her appointment. We are all very excited about the future for Valkstone Primary School under her leadership.
