Working Bee
The new date has been set for Sunday 20th November 9:30am to 12:00noon.
Please come along for all or some of the morning if you can. It will be great to see people together on site. We also welcome new families joining us in 2023 to come along and get to know their new school community. If you know your neighbours or kinder friends are starting at OPS next year, please extend our invitation to them.
Please bring any garden tools that will assist on the day.
Second Hand Uniform
Donation Day – donation to be Friday 18 November 8.30-9.30, 3-4pm to the Office
Sale Day - 25 November at the KOREAN ROOM (in portables) 8:30 to 9:30 and 3:00 to 4:00.
Icy Pole Day
Friday 2nd December
Despite the current polar blast hitting us it is almost summer time so we’re excited to announce two upcoming icypole days - Friday 2nd December - mark it in your calendar so your children have correct money as no change is able to be given.
Students Will be able to purchase an icy pole at lunch time for $1.00
(Note: Only one (1) icy pole per student is permitted)
Election Day Sauassage Sizzle
Grab a Democracy Sausage! OPS will again be hosting an Electoral Commission Polling Booth on Saturday 26th November.
P&F will be running a Sausage Sizzle from 8am- 3pm. We are looking for volunteers to help with cooking or serving hungry voters.

2023 Welcome Night – SAVE THE DATE
We’ll be hosting our annual welcome picnic early in the new year - we’re fortunate to have Woodstack Pizza and Ormond Ice Creamery back to help us celebrate so make sure you have Friday 17th February 2023 in your calendars.
New OPS Social Media Platforms Launched!
We are pleased to announce that Ormond Primary School’s new social media pages are now active on Facebook and Instagram. These new pages will feature a selection of highlights from our school newsletter, key reminders for upcoming events, and posts from our Parents and Friends Association (P&F). If you use social media, we encourage you to add yourself to:

Our existing ‘OPS Parents and Friends Community Kindness’ Facebook group page will cease to operate at the end of Term 4, and you will need to sign up to one of the new pages listed above on either Facebook or Instagram to continue receiving posts about Ormond Primary School. Year Level specific Facebook and WhatsApp groups will still be maintained by P&F and Class Reps where they exist, enabling you to gather additional year level information and to post questions.
