From the Year 3/4 Classrooms

'Calling All Campers!'

Two weeks ago, 134 grade 3&4 students, 7 teachers and 7 parent helpers departed school in 3 busses for Phillip Island Adventure Camp. There were mixed emotions… some trepidation, lots of excitement and nervous chatter.

For most students it was not only their first school camp but also their first time staying overnight away from their families.

Over the 3 days and 2 nights away, the students participated in many new experiences and fun activities, gaining invaluable resilience and independence, developed friendships and team building skills and basically just “had the best time of their lives!”

The teachers were extremely impressed with how well the students behaved upholding the BPPS spirit.

Upon returning to school after a much needed rest, students wrote about their ‘favourite experience’ at camp.

We hope you enjoy reading some of these below as well as the many snap shots taken by the teachers on camp.

We know these memories will be remembered and treasured!
