PFA Update

Nadine Power, PFA President
On behalf of the PFA, we would like to wish all students undertaking exams the very best for the coming weeks. Good luck - you got this!
2023 Parent community sign-ups are open
The 2023 PFA and CSR sign-up is now open. You can view the opportunities to participate here.
We invite all parents to consider how they might like to become involved. It’s a great opportunity to forge new friendships, have lots of fun and help strengthen our wonderful school community.
There's a huge variety of roles available with a lot of flexibility, and all time and knowledge volunteered is very much appreciated.
There's also no limit to the number of CSRs per year level; in fact, we encourage more than one representative so together you can share tasks and have fun.
Please contact Nadine Power via npower1616@gmail.com with any questions.
Last meeting with the CSRs
It was lovely for our CSRs to get together for the last meeting of the year.
We would like to thank this team of superstars for keeping each cohort up-to-date with school news and information and for helping to connect each cohort via catch ups and events. We very much appreciate your time and efforts.
10% off at all stock at SHUS!
The next opening of the secondhand uniform shop (SHUS) is on Saturday 5 November where all items will be marked at 10% off. The shop will also be open for an extra hour from 9.00am to 12.00pm to make sure families can work around sports commitments and come and bag a bargain.
The quality of the uniform items is very high, and some garments have hardly been worn. Come and let the friendly SHUS team help you find all your uniform requirements and save some hard-earned cash.
Please note: No items for consignments are currently being accepted. We will let you know as soon as we have space.
If you have any questions, please contact Bianca Lapins, Community Relations Officer, via lapinsb@kilvington.vic.edu.au.
Thank you for the ELC production
A huge thank you to the wonderful trio of Carrie Fowler, Treasure Vellis and Helen Vouros for providing refreshments before the ELC performance of Home Is Where The Heart Is last week. It added a special touch to a very special evening and is much appreciated.
2022 Kilvington secondhand book list
The 2022 Kilvington Grammar Secondhand Book List provides families the opportunity to buy and sell schoolbooks to others in our community. The list to help prepare for 2023 is now open and can be found here. You will also find the booklist for 2023 on KCEE so you can check what is required.
Please note: this is a service set up by the PFA for your convenience and offers a sustainable and cost-effective option to purchase books. All books sold and bought via this platform are the responsibility of the buyers/sellers and are done in good faith. The PFA nor the School is responsible for transactions.
If you have any questions, please contact the PFA via pfa@kilvington.vic.edu.au or Bianca Lapins, Community Relations Officer, via lapinsb@kilvington.vic.edu.au.

Thank you for World Teacher's Day
It was lovely to see our teaching staff enjoy an amazing morning tea this morning; so very generously provided by our families in recognition of World Teacher's Day.
The marvellous spread helped to convey our message of thanks and appreciation for all that they do. Thank you teachers!
Thank you to everyone who provided cakes, slices, biscuits, sandwiches, sausage rolls and the like for staff to enjoy. And a huge thank you to Carrie Fowler, Natasha Lowe, Treasure Vellis, Helen Vouros and Melinda Tassone for their time, effort and expertise in setting up the morning tea and making everything look so deliciously inviting. You are amazing!
Please remember all containers can be collected from Main Reception.
