CSEF and Parent Payment Information

CSEF (Camps, Sports & Excursions Funding)

Parents who have a health care card may be eligible for CSEF (Camps, Sports & Excursions Funding). 

If you received CSEF last year at Viewbank College, you do not need to complete an application. 

If you are new to the school or did not receive CSEF last year, you will need to submit an application (attached) along with a copy of your Health Care card.

Understanding Parent Payments

There are three categories of Parent payments:

  1. Essential Student Learning Items - These are items, activities or services that the school deems essential to student learning of the standard curriculum and includes any costs associated with Elective subjects
  2. Optional Items - These are items, activities or services that are optional and are offered in addition to the standard curriculum.  Students may access these on a user-pays basis
  3. Voluntary Financial Contributions -  These can include Building or Library fund (Tax deductible),  Voluntary contributions for a specific purpose, such as equipment, materials, services. General voluntary contributions.
