Year 11 Studio Art Exhibition

The Year 11 Studio Art class put on an Exhibition of some of their work from Unit 1. We then asked for votes from all students and teachers for the ‘People’s Choice Award’ as done in many professional galleries and exhibitions around the world.

It was great to have so many teachers and students voting for their favourite artworks. It’s also great for our young artists to see that their hard work and talent is appreciated.

We can now announce the winner of the People’s Choice Award this year is Chloe Falvey with her amazing coloured pencil and mixed media artwork titled “Golden”.

2nd place went to Maya Tomasovic for her pencil artwork “Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht”

and 3rd place went to Chloe Falvey again for her digitally drawn artwork “Cold Coffee”. 

We also like to award a Teacher’s Choice Award for the most teacher votes, and this went to Katie Appleyard for her painting “Moonlit Midnight”.

Well done to all artists exhibiting work from the class, it was great to see so many artworks from our talented students. We can’t wait to see your next exhibition at the end of Unit 2.
