Child Safety Standards

The safety of all children is a responsibility we take very seriously. As you know we have placed a spotlight on the child safety standards through this newsletter because we strongly believe that the safety of our children is the responsibility of our entire community.

This week I would like to focus on the second of the seven standards a child safe policy or statement of child safety. Though all policies are available on our website the Child Safe policy can also be found below. Please take the time to have a look at the procedures we have in place to keep the young people in our care safe.

Lower Primary Family BBQ

On Friday the 15th of March weather finally permitted us to host the annual Lower Primary BBQ. Great fun was had by all as students brought along their extended family to share in this great event. Hairspray, facepainting, tattoos and a jumping castle entertained the kids and parents got to spend some quality time with other Concord families. It is always a great event and one of great importance because we do want to give our families the opportunity to socialise. Check out the pictures from the evening below.

Communication with Families

We have had a great response to our school survey so far. Don’t forget that this closes on Friday. If you would like to have your say please complete the survey so that we can move forward with informed actions. Please click on the below link to access the survey.

Principal Award- John Doan

John is very deserving of the Principal Award. He has had an amazing start to his secondary education.  He is always ready for learning and tries hard with challenging tasks.

He enjoys researching things about the brain.  He organises his information well and presents his work thoughtfully and carefully.  He follows instructions in the classroom and is kind and patient with others. He encourages classmates to do the right thing.

John is a quiet achiever and a great role model to others.
