Greater Western Athletics

Yesterday 13 of our students boarded the bus, not knowing what the weather would bring at the Greater Western Region Athletics Carnival. To our surprise, not a drop of rain fell throughout the event!

Our students were amazing on the day and performed to the best of their abilities, in what was very strong competition.

Congratulations to:

Isla Hiscock - 2nd in 100m, 2nd in 200m, 2nd in 400m and 2nd in Long Jump.

Iris Sudholz - 2nd in 1500m.

Jorja Clode - 2nd in Discuss.

We also had two teams in the Year 7 Relay, with the girls coming home with a very close 2nd place. I’m sure they will be very hungry to take top place next year. A big congratulations to all of our students who participated on the day!
