The extra curricular opportunities are endless at St Brigid's!
Study Slam
Study Slam is a teacher supported program where you can seek help with outstanding school work and/or personal study. It helps strengthen your revision skills and can provide a safe, focused environment for study.
Study Slam is open to any student, across all year levels and takes place in the Senior Study Centre. It runs from 3:30pm to 4:30pm Monday to Friday every week.
Grampians Writers Short Story Competition.
Students are invited to submit entries for the Grampians Writers Short Story Competition. The theme of your short story should be 'Dream'. This can be interpreted in any way you like! Entry is free!
Categories:
* Year 7 - 9 (1,000 words maximum)
* Year 10 - 12 (1,500 words maximum)
Prizes for each category:
* Year 7 - 9: First $100.00, Second $ 50.00, Highly Commended Certificate
* Year 10 - 12: First $100.00, Second $ 50.00, Highly Commended Certificate
Prizes will be selected by judges from all entries by local writers to encourage resident writers in the Grampians Region.
Entries must be submitted by 14th October, 2022

Nextwave Youth Short Film Competition
SWIFF's Nextwave Youth Short Film Competition is open for entries!
The Coffs Coast's Screenwave International Film Festival is looking for the next wave of young film makers!
All students are invited to enter a short film into the Nextwave Youth Film Competition for your chance to win awesome awards and prizes, including Best School, and have your film premiere at SWIFF 2023 on the Coffs Coast.
If you like being creative, and want to have a go at filmmaking, SWIFF wants to see what you can do!
The rules are simple:
- Make a film under five minutes
- Include the theme of TRANSFORMATION and a GREEN item in your film!
- Enter before October 25th to win!
