Literacy

This term at Kismet Park Primary School, students have been exploring different authors in their author studies for Reading. Students have been learning to compare and contrast themes, analyse text and illustrations, and make connections between an author's life and his/her work and between the author's work and the reader's own life and work.

Our Prep grades are studying the author Eric Carle. 

One of our Grade 1 classes are looking at  books by Oliver Jeffers. 

One of our Grade 4 classes are studying books by Jackie French.

One of our Grade 5 classes are studying books by Morris Gleitzman.
