This term’s Art theme is Pop Art and we are creating artworks that are inspired by Yayoi Kusama.

We are recreating her polka dot art work using stickers.

We are recreating the famous “Pumpkin” using dotting technique.

We used watercolor and oil pastel to create the background. Then we recreated Yayoi Kusma’s “flowers” using colour pencils and colour makers.

Inspired by Yayoi’s “mushrooms” painting. Students chose one type of fruit, designed the shapes and patterns then carefully considered the composition and choice of colour.
