Bike Raffle Update

 Don’t miss out on the $350 Bike Raffle! 

The $350 bike voucher competition is well underway! We have already been seeing livelier footpaths in the morning as more bright-eyed students walk and cycle to school, making new friends along the way. 

Entering the draw is super simple! Each child has been given a star card and encouraged to use a mode of active travel daily for 5 weeks. For each day that a child walks or rides to school, they get a sticker on their card. Completed cards, go into the draw to win the grand prize!

Burrendah Primary School encourages parents and carers to walk to school with your child and along the way, role model safe pedestrian behaviours such as the Stop, Look, Listen and Think procedure when crossing the road.

Live too far to walk, cycle, or scoot the entire way to school? Why not drive to a nearby park (i.e. Kennon Park or Aderyn Park) or a café (ie. Southlands or Twig & Sparrow on Apsley Rd) and then walk or ride the rest of the way?
