All Welcome – Worship Services At St Paul

Everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday morning for worship. For a trial period of six months, there will be one combined service held at 9.30 on the first Sunday of the Month, with a blended style of worship.  This means that this Sunday, 2nd October, there will be one service at 9.30. It is also the start of daylight savings, so don’t forget to put your clocks forward one hour.

Playgroup @ St Paul

Playgroup @St Paul is on each Tuesday during Term time in the Hall, from 9-10.30, but we welcome people in anytime from 8.30 onwards while we set up. Join us for a coffee, playtime, story time and songs from 9-10.30 each week during school terms. Cost is $2 per family.

 * We will return for Term 4 on Tuesday 18th October at 9am

For craft time, we put stickers onto dog pictures to make them spotty and in sensory play we played with Oobleck mud, which was a lot of fun, feeling it oozing through our fingers.

For Story Time we read ‘Hairy Maclary Hat Tricks’ by Lynley Dodd and sang songs about spots, kites and going up and down.

School Holiday Fun Time

Why not try making your own Oobleck mud at home?

Mix 500g cornflour and ¼ cup cocoa powder together, then slowly mix in 3 ½-4 cups of water to reach the desired consistency.

You could also change it by omitting the cocoa powder and using food dye or vanilla essence for different colours and smells.

Growing Faith At Home

This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.

Here are a few little ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home, day-to-day life.

Mealtime Prayer:

Thanks we give to God above, for strength and health and those we love. Amen.

Bless:

(Name) Child of God, receive the crown of life that God has promised.
