EXAMS AND FINAL ASSESSMENTS

Congratulations to our Year 12 students for completing your English, EAL and Literature exams. Your teachers are incredibly proud of you and wish you all the best for the future.

Good luck to Years 10 and 11 students on your up-coming English exams. Your dedication to these tasks has been impressive. These tasks are an important part of students’ learning and provide an opportunity for them to showcase the skills they have developed throughout the year. After the exams, students should reflect on their achievements and areas for improvement. It’s important that students learn from the process and results in order to improve in the future, particularly with VCE Orientation beginning soon.

Over the remaining weeks of the year, Years 7-9 students will complete their final learning tasks. As with senior exams, these tasks are a chance for students to implement all they have learned this year. Junior and middle school students will also be completing a series of targeted tasks with a strict focus on literacy, including PAT tests and NAPLAN-style questions. These tasks will further embed key skills required for future success in English classes.

Stay tuned for the next edition of the newsletter which will feature some of the outstanding work students have been completing in their English classes and electives.
